Overview

With the new branding, LASK also received a digital home that meets its standards – modern, emotional, and technically state of the art. Ahoi Kapptn! developed the entire web platform, which unites four independent websites: the men's teams, women's teams, the Raiffeisen Arena, and the football academy. The result is a powerful, flexible presence that makes the brand consistently tangible across all areas – for fans, partners, and the club itself.

Digital brand strategy

Together with LASK, the digital strategy for the relaunch was developed. The goal was to make the new branding come alive online and to create a platform that connects the club, fans, and partners more closely.

Structure for Four Worlds

From the beginning, the architecture was planned so that four websites – Men, Women, Raiffeisen Arena, and Football Academy – can be operated on a common basis. Each unit receives its own presence, while design, CMS, and technical structure are efficiently shared.

Design & User Experience

The new visual appearance has been consistently translated into a clear, minimalist user experience. Content takes center stage, and emotion is created through dynamics, movement, and authentic imagery.

Modern tech stack

The website was developed with Next.js and React. Server-side rendering ensures lightning-fast loading times, excellent SEO ratings, and a future-proof codebase. The result: top-notch performance—even during high traffic periods around game days or draws (keyword Liverpool).

Headless CMS & Role Management

A headless CMS enables different departments – media, academy, women's team, arena – to manage content independently of each other. A flexible role and rights concept ensures efficient, secure workflows and decentralized content management within the organization.

API Integration & Data Logic

Content and match data are completely decoupled. Through custom APIs – including Opta and Sportradar – scores, tables, and statistics are displayed in real-time. This way, content remains current and dynamic without burdening the CMS.
