Do-gether connects people who are seeking help with those who offer it—digitally, securely, and without complication. Ahoi Kapptn! was responsible for the complete technical implementation: from conception, through native app development, to a scalable backend. Rethinking community

With the vision "Together it's simply better," do-gether digitally connects those seeking help with those offering assistance – from the student who helps with shopping to the elderly lady who needs support in everyday life.

Safety and equality as a fundamental principle

Even at the conceptual stage, the focus was on user verification (ID check), fixed pricing tiers, and clear rules—to build trust and replace the traditional gratitude model with a fair service.

User journey & positioning

In workshops and concept phases, the target groups (e.g., neighborhoods in Vienna), usage scenarios (small, large, and long assistance services), and a concise brand promise (“Help made easy”) were defined.

Develop

App Development

The app was developed as a native solution (iOS + Android) and implemented through an intuitive interface with a clear task workflow: listing aid, finding helpers, communication, secure payment.

Backend & Payment Integration

We took over the backend system including user management, task matching, ID verification, payment processing via Stripe, and rating system. This established a stable platform that remains performant even with a growing number of users.

Scalable Infrastructure & Security

The architecture was deliberately designed to be modular: user verification, real-time updates of task status (“I’m on my way”, “I’m there”), push notifications, and a secure codeword system for each assistance ensure a high technical quality.

Growing Community

Since the launch, do-gether has been continuously evolving. New user groups are joining, and the platform is increasingly perceived as an integral part of local assistance.

Technical Development

The architecture allows for the agile introduction of new features – from donation features to regional expansions – without having to rebuild the system.
